How to get control of your social anxiety
One way to control your anxiety is to look from 3 points view: mind, body and action. Looking at each, you can better manage your anxiety and it may be easier for you to overcome your stress.
Your Mind
The first step is to focus on how your thinking is the root of your problem. A lifetime unhealthy mental beliefs and habitual patterns are what triggers your anxiety. Here are some of the biggest traps, and some suggestions on how you can get the latest:
- Focus on yourself – Stop focusing on yourself and what others may think. Focus your thoughts on another person, or the task you're supposed to do.
- Trying to be perfect – nobody's perfect, so it is useless to try be.
- Mistakes – everyone makes mistakes, and if you learn from them, they can be seen in a more positive light.
- Control management of social situations – always being in control means that you are avoiding any new situation and opportunities to earn the trust of more social. Take some risks from time to time, and you are better able to manage them.
Your Body
Believe it or not, taking care Your physical body is an important step in the fight against stress and anxiety. There are basically three areas that you should focus on keeping your body in better shape:
- Exercise – In exercising regularly, you will usually find at least that can reduce stress your specific social anxiety. Go to the gym may just add more stress, so try to do some work outs at home with a stepper, bike stationary or dumbbells.
