Fear Anxiety Children
Do I have children? I have chronic depression, severe headaches and anxiety. Very confusing. Please Help. .
I am a 30 year old getting married in 3 months but I have heard many people that children are an emotional drain Financial and parents. I fear that my anxiety and depression will increase if I have children, especially if (God forbid) they have a medical condition or are congenitally deformed etc (I am very pessimistic). I have enough of my own concerns. Then, the added stress of marriage and children can again send me the death spiral of depression. I take antidepressants and other drugs, but they help me to a point where I can barely manage my own job and other concerns. I am in no way ready for any other concerns. No more stress can completely break me. On the other hand, people tell me that having children and caring for them is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling and brings a great joy in life. It's not stressful, but a source of happiness. (Probably not when adolescents rebel r!). Please Help.
If you are that afraid to have children, then do not do it because your headache will get worse and your wallet will not be fat for many years. It would not just for the child to have to live with a parent who does not really want them.
