Get fast relief from anxiety disorder and panic with breathing techniques.
Many of the symptoms we feel during a panic attack or anxiety are very real physical reactions in our body, even though the threat may be more a product of our mind that it is a reality.
Throughout my years of learning does not overcome my anxiety, I learned that a) there is no instant cure or "quick fix" and b) no unique way of treatment only, such as drugs, will be an effective solution, long term.
One of the single most effective means of reducing the debilitating physical reactions your body to a perceived threat (which is part of what is an anxiety attack) is to learn deep breathing techniques.
Once you learn to control your breathing, If you feel an anxiety attack coming on you'll be able to quickly relax and reduce these feelings. You will soon feel much better, and what a that will be great!
Part of what happens when your mind perceives the danger is it reduces your breathing, producing a lot of choking, panic, heart beating fast as you feel.
It is important for you to use these breathing techniques before or right when you feel anxiety coming on. However, start practicing any time you have a chance, at least once a day.
You want to practice breathing slow and steady the nose. To be sure you do this technique well; Inhale slowly through your nose while counting to 6. Hold your breath for a second or two, then exhale slowly counted as 6, hold for one second or two and try again.
Also try to breathe using your stomach and not your chest. To test this, place your hand on the belly as you breathe, and you should feel the slowly moving up and down with your inhaling and exhaling.
Now practice, this day each, while driving to work or to relax after work would be great. Let yourself relax while doing this. Start to use this technique when you start to feel anxiety coming on, or when you know you will be directed towards a situation that usually causes a problem with your anxiety disorder, even before you start to feel symptoms coming!
Only one of the techniques when combined with a holistic "life" for anxiety disorders and panic that can allow you to live anxiety free!
It is possible, it can be done, but you must do! Start today!
