Breathing Difficulty Anxiety
Is a vocal coach to teach breathing techniques to help anxiety?
I suffer from severe anxiety so just and thus I have difficulty breathing normally. I tend to hold my breath a bit and during physical activity I get tired more quickly because I do not breathe properly. I was told recently that a vocal coach (for singing) can teach me techniques breathing could help me be normal for the lack of a better term. Just to clarify, I do not want to learn to sing, I am a singer shit. I am only interested in breathing techniques. So I guess I want to know if this is true and if not, does anyone have any ideas for technical Breathing?
That makes sense, because to sing properly, you blast your lungs not your throat or nose. When you breathe deeply breaths your lungs and your breathing relaxes you and relieves stress and anxiety. Give it a try and good luck!
