Honestly, i am diagnosed with Dysthymia. It is depression that is ongoing for more than 2 years. But for me, its been 5 years. The most intense crisis was 2 months ago where i could no longer able to contain my thoughts. All this while, i didn’t want anyone’s help. I held back every single person or opportunity.
I simply refused to help myself even though my teacher are there wanting to help me.
The loss of my dear ones and my upcoming examination made my life a living hell. I managed to get myself together although i was experiencing a huge amount of pressure.
It was until few months back where i had enough. I was on the verge of breaking apart due to constant feeling of despondent and the frequent uncontrollable thoughts that was bothering me. I took the plunge of warding myself at the nearest A&E hospital with the assistance of a former colleague who works there. She registered for me since i was scared.
I was experiencing:
· frequent thoughts of suicidal, even plan out how i’m going to end my life
· constant sadness
· loss of interest in everyday activities which i used to enjoy
· having trouble sleeping
· stay away from any form of interaction
It is critical that you able to identify the symptoms of depression so as to safeguard yourself and your loved ones.. Its better to get an early treatment before its too late. Get asistance from the professional or consult someone whom you can trust. Get closer to god and ensure that you have a healthy lifestyle.
