Not being able to sleep well at night can make you feel drowsy, irritable and overly anxious during the day. So if you want a good night’s sleep, don’t have that cup of coffee or drink of chocolate before going off to bed. If you really want to drink chocolate or coffee, make sure you do so at least three hours before you go to bed.
Studies have shown that smoking can increase the level of anxiety in people. Many people who smoke do so to relax, but it does not help if you suffer with an anxiety disorder. If you are serious about getting rid of your anxiety, it would be wise to stop smoking, even if you have heard this a hundred times before. You certainly don’t have to be lectured about qutting or how bad smoking is for you.
Exercise is one of those things that has proven to be excellent to relieve stress. After a busy and stressful day at the office, go to the gym or simply do simple physical activities like walking, jogging or climbing stairs. Start exercising as soon as you can as this will help to ease your mind and relax your muscles and is an excellent panic attack anxiety treatment.
