What Could be the Causes of Anxiety Attacks?
Anxiety attacks could be sparked by several things. First off, family history or genes plays a part. If you have relatives or ancestors who have had anxiety attacks, you are more likely to experience them also. But individuals without such associations may also experience them.
How one is nurtured may determine a tendency to have a panic attack. Studies show that people who are raised with a fearful mindset on life and their environment are more likely to have this disorder, as are people who have a very passive communication style.
Other physical conditions can likewise have an effect. People who have obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, hyperthyroidism, hypoglycemia, vitamin B deficiency, or even labyrinthitis could cause panic or anxiety attacks.
Anxiety attacks may also be triggered by chemical substances entering the body. These include “heavy duty” medications such as Ritalin, anti-depressants, and all SSRI medications, but also nicotine, alcohol, and even caffeine.
